Entire videogame store inventory on sale on eBay

Most gamers love to collect everything from their favorite hobby. This includes anything from unopened game boxes, to plush toys starring their favorite characters, to systems that your little sibling would have no interest in. What if you could get someone else’s collection all in one fell swoop? Heck, why not go for an entire videogame store’s stuff? According to an interesting listing on eBay, that’s a possibility.

A videogame store in Grand Junction, Colorado, is hoping to sell its entire videogame store inventory by September 10th. It’s doing so by using eBay as a means of attracting bidders hoping to have it all.

The winning bidder would receive “thousands of games, system and accessories,” with console offerings as retro as the NES. The seller is claiming $60,000 worth of inventory being sold on eBay at a final “Buy It Now” price of $30,000.

Not sure if it matters given the high pricepoint, but the seller has also agreed to ship the items for free if the bidder ends the auction by bidding the Buy It Now price.

Shit. If he listed all the games and stuff and guaranteed they all work correctly this could be a veritable treasure trove. :)

he need to list some of those rare games that are worth the price of 30G

Yep about the only way someone would drop 30G is if he has some rare games

Not bad but he needs to list what games he has.

Doesn’t seem worth it if the seller can easily pad out the collection with multiple copies of really bad games.

Woah, that is some collection, but for 30 grand, damn. Good luck to the seller though.

30k’s a lot. I’d want to know the exact inventory before I dropped that much too.

I agree, without a list I wouldn’t do it… and none of them are complete either!

Seems like a lot of games that arent worth much, though pretty cool to get in on this if you are getting into selling games and such.

Anyone want to start a Kartel fund? :P Each of us puts in 1,000 dollars and we divy up the games XD.

Like Jounin said, it’ll pretty much be multiple copies of bad games at SRP. Thanks but no thanks

WOW $30000, thats one hefty price. all of those games better work and be moderately good. plus he should list what the heck each game is.

i would never pay that much for a lump auction where it doesn’t say what is all included, so you know exactly what you are getting, proof that everything works, condition of everything, and the reason the seller came to that pricepoint.

Theres a reason why no one bought these game from his store… They are all bad games. Look @ his policy “No Returns Accepted”. No thanks.

  18. storino03 August 28, 2010 at #

no returns accepted is obvious given the amount of items he is selling. that would be ridiculous to recount everything and make sure nothing was broken if a return was in order.
