With some of the upcoming holiday season's best games around the corner, I would expect to see several high-profile videogame TV commercials. For the casual gamer, sometimes these commercials are enough to sway the opinion of someone on the ropes of buying a game with a new intellectual property or character brand. Over the last several days, I've combined a list of my favorite gaming commercials, measured not just by humor or artistic design, but also their impact on us as gamers as we look at them today. We've all had our fair trials with the world of video-game piracy, but the most publicized rapper today, Lil' Wayne, certainly went the extra mile in a video interview with Gamertag Radio recently.
Every game. Every porno. A real X Box. Now we all know that this isn't at the very least possible, especially for the porno bit. There's just way too many crazy festishes out there to fit all on one Xbox, let alone a hard-drive. And maybe Lil' Wayne's just way too lazy to buy real video-games for himself. Regardless, I think it's ironic that while Lil' Wayne is pirating stuff within the world of video-games, a bunch of people are doing the same with his music. Got money and you know it. ... |
