Street Fighter 2 is one of the obvious titles that belong on Den of Geek's list of 10 sequels that are better than the original. Most people don't even remember the original Street Fighter, which debuted as an arcade game and then made for the Turbo-GRAFX CD home console. [nextpage] However, there's plenty of interesting additions to this piece, including sequels to initially revolutionizing originals. I guess that when developers start getting in a groove, they really start pumping out the real good stuff. Just look at the Call of Duty or Uncharted series. Once developers get a firmer grasp at how much better they can actually make their projects, they're able to do more ambitious things that they weren't able to do before. Red Steel had terrible controls for a Wii launch game, but ...

With some of the upcoming holiday season's best games around the corner, I would expect to see several high-profile videogame TV commercials. For the casual gamer, sometimes these commercials are enough to sway the opinion of someone on the ropes of buying a game with a new intellectual property or character brand.
