As of today,  Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob have four new brothers. Or four new pets, depending on how you look at it. Nickelodeon has acquired the global rights for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for $60 million. Considered one of the most successful franchises in the past 25 years, the Turtles have had a successful run in comics, cartoons, movies, toy lines, and of course video games.[nextpage]

Despite a crazy Sunday, I was defiant that I was going to catch Where the Wild Things Are in the theater. To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the film, despite having followed the development of this project for some time. I had heard about all the set backs, and problems. It’s amazing this movie even saw the light of day due to all the issues that seemed to plague the production.

To help you better appreciate this movie, I put together all the challenges that were met in trying to bring this film to life. That in itself is inspiring.

One thing I never noticed before on Yahoo’s main page, partly because it’s so clutter with 1001 things, is their list of the most popular searches. I remember digging through old searches, and am always fascinated to see what people want to find online. Britney was the number one search term for nearly 6 years running. WWE was somewhere up there too.

But this latest top 10 list, which I assume is today’s top searches, is so puzzling, that I had to engage in some heavy click-fest to figure out what all the hubbub was about. Here’s what I discovered. Or at least what I concluded.
