You fuckers wanted it, you got it.
My gaming setup, in 43 pictures. Also, a blog that starts off by calling everybody "fuckers".
Win/win for all.
You know what, originally it went right into the pictures here, but I just spent well over two hours taking pictures, renaming pictures, writing up this blog, adding the pictures and captions and everything else. This was supposed to be a quick intro, but dammit, I wanted to add some text here just to say how time consuming this was...
I REALLY hope you guys enjoy this. I've spent more time on this blog than I really should have, so hopefully I'll actually get a few comments on this one, unlike damn near every other blog I write here...
Also, if the very first sentence didn't tip you off, this post includes a healthy amount of profanity, so reader discretion NSFW and all that other happy horseshit.
Let's get to the meat of this bitch.
PICTURES!!!
Wide shot part 1. Shows off posters, games, computer setup, and my bitchin recliner!
Wide shot part 2. Couch, TV, more games, drumset, more posters, and our bitchin touch lamp that our damn cats are always turning off on us... Bastards.
Here's the main setup. Got the TV, of course, game systems out the ass and what not. We're just gettin started...
Main tower of entertainment. Let's dive in, shall we?
My baby. The Modern Warfare 2 360 system with the 250 gibblebit hard drive. Yes, I'm still rockin the HD-DVD player too. Bitches don't know 'bout my HD-DVD player. And yes, I've been balls deep in Red Dead lately. Sooooo good.
Here's the Wii, which is modded because I'm a horrible game pirate. Also representing is the Nyko charge dock, a Wii Motion Plus attachment and my sweet Pandora's Box from the God of War 3 Ultimate Edition. That red book lookin thing is the limited edition Age of Conan PC game. I got it because it was like $10 and it's a sweet little collector's item. I will never play it.
Colecovision WHAT? Yeah, bitches, I rock this shit OLD SCHOOL. Colecovision with Venture on board! I only wish I had the proper video hookups to play the damn thing. Got the power cord, but not AV hookup. :(
Also pictured: Subwoofer
Can't leave these guys out! That's my old (broken) modded Xbox, a Sega Genesis and my SNES. That thing that's backwards is my DJ Hero turntable. I have it like that so the dust doesn't get in the grooves of the "record" since it's a bitch to get out. It's on top of a Donkey Kong Jungle Beat box.
Here's the TV stand setup. Got the PS3, 80 GB partial backwards compatible model. My surround sound system, which kind of sucks actually. Bottom shelf is the cable box and, what's that? A second Xbox 360? You guessed it! It's modded! Horray for downloading games! Don't worry, I buy the game if it's worth it. You'll see that soon enough.
Hey look, a drawer! I bet there's a body in there!
NOPE! Just a shitload of controllers and cables! WaveBirds, Xbox controllers, AV cables, Ethernet cords, AV switches, headsets, a Rock Band mic, possible a body underneath it all, I guess.
Hey, didn't we miss part of that tower? Oh yeah, that really awesome top shelf, right?
BLA-DAM!
EDDIE RIGGS STATUE! Only 1000 made and worth a cool $200. I won that bitch! Got that and some T-shirts in a "Worst Christmas Present" contest from EA. How'd I win? My house was robbed for Christmas, that's how.
But hey, what's behind it??
HOLY SHIT IT'S A FUCKING VECTREX!!! I'm so glad I held off on making this blog because I just got this sumbitch YESTERDAY. No games besides the Asteroids clone built into it, but that will soon change.
Also pictured, my Xbox Live Vision Camera that I use to show people my weiner in Uno.
(Just kidding about that. Don't report me.)
Next to the tower we've got our first rack of awesome. Let's look at things a little closer, shall we?
Here we've got my MASSIVE PS3 collection. I own 3D Dot Game Heroes, God of War III, Hot Shots Golf and White Knight Chronicles. I also have the slipcover and bonus disc for Smackdown vs. RAW 2008. Sold the game.
Bottom two shelves are what's left of my once legendary PS2 collection. I SHALL REBUILD!
Hey, are those movies?
You betcha! My Bluray collection right thurr. That wooden box is the first 5 Harry Potter movies. Below the blus I have HD-DVDs and Wrestling DVDs. I'll skip the pictures for those.
Here's on top of the Blurays. Got the Dark Knight batcycle package, the complete M*A*S*H set, the cases for the first run of Season 7 of Ninja Turtles, a King Hippo inflatable, Winnie the Pooh wrestler plush hanging out inside a King Hippo Crown, Red Faction mech and it's box. Next to the Red Faction box is "Nintendo Puzzle Collection" JP Import for the GameCube.
Also pictured: Autographed posters from Hollywood Undead and ASHES dIVIDE (Billy Howerdel & Josh Freese from A Perfect Circle)
Next to it we've got the GTA IV Limited Edition box, Sims 3 Limited Edition, Simon Belmont Figure, my Fallout 3 Bobblehead, Pokemans figure, a Katamari cell phone charm and the box for the Afro Samurai Figure. Then we've got the House of the Dead Overkill VHS box with a still wrapped t-shirt inside. There's also some books there, let's check them out...
MAGNACARTA 2 Art Book, Dark Void Prelude Comic, Darksiders Art Book, FFXIII Strategy Guide excerpt, Demon's Souls Art Book/Soundtrack.
Since I'm laying shit out on my couch, let's grab some guitars!
L-R:
Guitar Hero 5 guitar
Guitar Hero 3 guitar, stickered to shit and back by my wife. Thanks honey.
Rock Band Limited Edition Pepsi Skinned Guitar. Only THIRTY of those suckers exist!
Rock Band guitar
Guitar Hero: World Tour guitar
Here we've got a giant ass Bioshock 2 poster. Thanks, friends at GameStop!
Let's look at more posters while we're at it!
Here's a thank you mini-poster from Nintendo and I'm using the Okami replacement artwork sleeves as mini-posters too.
MADWORLD poster, thanks again to GameStop, a Chrono Trigger poster, an 8-bit tie and a GameCube towel with a MADWORLD pin on it. King Hippo's fat ass is trying to get in the shot too.
Dragon Quest VIII Poster and Castlevania Judgement poster. Castlevania Judgement might fucking BLOW, but the poster is beyond badass.
The Bad Dudes!
Also pictured: autographed Rev Theory poster.
Here's my Final Fantasy XII Poster and Prototype poster with a TON of swag. (gonna list somewhat counterclockwise)
Let's see, we've got the Afro Samurai figure, Dark Void grenade, Psyduck, Chainsaw dude from RE4, Fallout 3 Lunchbox, Gears of War RC vehicle, Bumpy Trot/Steambot Chronicles mini-harmonica, Torchic Orange GBA SP, Saint's Row 2 Bullet USB drive, Ass Creed 1 figure, Chris Redfield figure, Bakugan toy sitting on top of my True Crime USB stick, 3 Dark Void figures lined up to make the full picture, another Psyduck, 10,000,000 Zimbabwe dollars (won a Dtoid contest), Phoenix Wright keychain, Batman box and batarang, Mushroom Men figure, Sonic figure, Nintendo Hanfuda Cards, Homerball stress ball, RE5 LE box, Ghostbusters car, Brutal Legend patch and the Prototype BIOHAZARD tube. Think I got most of it...
So what's below all that?
HOLY 360 GAMES!
Counting the two pack games as 2 and NOT counting bonus discs or multiples of the same game (like my 3 FFXI discs), I've got 130 games there. Remember that for when you see my burned 360 discs later on. And keep in mind in the past month I've gotten rid of about 80 360 games. EIGHTY. Yes, at one time I had over 200 360 games...
Some notables include Alan Wake LE, Asterix at the Olympic Games, Crackdown with Asian artwork, Dragon Age LE, Forza 3 LE, Gears 1&2 LEs, Mass Effect 1&2 LEs, Mortal Kombat vs DC LE, Oblivion LE, Splinter Cell Conviction LE, and my baby, Tales of Vesperia Limited Edition. Also, my Lost Odyssey is in a 4 disc case, so suck it. How, you ask? Find a GameStop that has the Forza 3/Halo ODST bundle disc for sale. It's a 4 disc case. Steal the case and put your Lost Odyssey discs in there. It's a tight fit with the manual, but it's very nice.
MOVING ON...
Let's see, Persona 4 plush, AiAi plush, Agarest War mousepad, Up (the movie) plushies, Psyduck plush (Yes, I like Psyduck), Harvest Moon cow plush and a retarded Luigi Plush. Only now that I'm typing this up I wish I had a better picture of the retarded Luigi plush...brb...
HERE IS A PICTURE ON TWITPIC
Also pictured is my other MADWORLD poster and a poster for Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Wii. Yeah, the game we never got here in the US. Fucking Nintendo... Oh yeah, I have a second Disaster Poster from a shipping mishap if anybody wants to make a cash moneys offer on it.
Next to that we've got my super amazing Ness blanket from EarthBound!
One of a kind, hand made blanket featuring the lead character from my all time favorite game! BOO YEAH!!
Back over to where those posters were.....
THese are all of my video game CDs. We've got official soundtracks, fan remix albums, The OneUps, Project Majestic Mix, all kinds of fun stuff...
Here's more games! DS, GBA, SNES, Game Boy, some of our Genesis (the ones in the large cases aren't out anywhere), PSX, NES, Dreamcast (despite no longer owning a Dreamcast) along with some empty 360 cases below that (I like to save my non-eco cases)
Let's head up a bit to find...
MORE SWAG!
Got the box from Wii Sports Resort (even though I traded the game), Street Fighter IV headband, Record of Agarest War box, two drumsticks from the band COLD, my Wii Zapper box, FFXII Balthier figure, Destroy all Humans bobblehead, a "Pussy Wagon" keychain (Kill Bill), a stress toy cow from some random bank in my area, Wii Dog Tags, Dark Void USB stick, Gun Playing Cards and Raphael.
There's also GameCube Popcorn, a Game Boy Advance stress ball and a Puchi Puchi Virus stress pill to the left of Agarest War.
Continue on over to see...
Katamari PSP case, EARTHBOUND for the SNES, complete and MINT!, Dante's Inferno Figure guarding EarthBound along with Leonardo and Donatello, a custom made Ness winter cap, Ass Creed II LE, Punch Out Heavyweight Contender pack, Ninja Turtle trading cards box, Smackdown vs. RAW 2009 Steel Cage packaging (no game), Conan figure, another cow with Michaelangelo riding him, Big Daddy and Ezio on top of my DSi box, Leonardo snow globe, Mario & Sonic Olympics pin, Bioshock 2 LE, Mini Ninjas pin set, Brutal Legend LP packaging, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man stress toy, Darksiders figure, LEGO Rock Band Keychain, Nintendo GamerAde empty can.
And all of that is on top of all of my TV DVD sets. We've got it all, Animaniancs, DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Super Mario Bros, Captain N, Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, Monty Python's Flying Circus box set, Penn & Teller Bullshit, Saved By the Bell complete Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Robot Chicken, Freakazoid!, etc...
More posters!
Ninja Turtles and Borderlands of course, below them I have two post card flyers for The OneUps, a MADWORLD sticker, two pics of my old cats (RIP) and an autographed Dark Void mini-poster.
MORE Swag! Tekken 5 Ultimate Edition (no game anymore), God of War III Ultimate Edition box, Illusion of Gaia complete in box for SNES, Mother 3 for GBA, Ghostbusters Slimer figure, Head & Shoulders with a Madden demo, Super Mario Galaxy coin, Great Greed for Game Boy, Devil Summoner 2 Limited Set (unopened), handmade Alien Hominid figure (only 100 made) wearing my Scribblenauts hat.
Behind is a signed poster from the band RED and to the side is my 1998 Summer bowling league champions plaque. CHAMPIONS, BITCHES!
HERE's the bad stuff. On the left, the top shelf is Wii games. Bottom shelf is GameCube games. The other shelves are all burned Wii games. On the right, the top 4 shelves are burned 360 games (even the ones in normal cases) and the bottom two shelves are original Xbox games.
Yes. I have a lot of burned games. To my defense, many of those 360 games are games I've already owned at one point, or suck really bad and I would never spend money on them anyways. As for the Wii games, fuck the Wii. God...and I camped out for one of those on launch night! Thanks for targeting my grandparents, Nintendo...
At the bottom you can somewhat see my Tekken 6 Limited Edition box (sold the game)
Bayonetta poster, Rejected Mega Man Villains poster and Pizza/Ranch Doritos. Fuckin awesome.
So, you think I have a lot of posters up, eh?
Well......
Those are tubes full of posters I DON'T have up. Many of those tubes have multiple posters in each tube, not to mention the ones still rolled up and not in tubes. There's a few more next to our fridge (no picture of them) as well...
ANOTHER giant Bioshock 2 poster, this one isn't hanging up anywhere. Also a signed poster for The Killer and the Star featuring Scooter Ward from COLD. That other tiny poster? That's the best poster I own...
TEAMWORK: Doesn't Matter. Zombies Will Still Eat Your Brains.
This replaced my Prototype poster of the same size. These are the small square posters hanging up in GameStop. I have good friends.
EVEN MORE SWAG!!!
A Clerks 2 Happy Meal set, OG Game Boy, GameCube Water Bottle, Donkey Kong Energy Drink can, my wedding glasses, a handmade Mario "?" block, different Pepsi/Mt. Dew/Coke bottles and a plaque from when I was in National Honor Society. See? I'm smart! There's also a Ninja Turtle Smash Up Thermos up there somewhere hidden...
Jesus... Even our FRIDGE is cover in gaming stuff. Pac Man ghosts, Halo Magnets, Zelda Magnets, Mario Mushrooms and yes, off to the right, that's a Nuka Cola bottle opener from Fallout 3...
Ladies and gentlemen, you have seen MOST of my gaming collection.
Not pictured? More posters, my Resident Evil chainsaw controllers, all of my strategy guides including many Limited Edition guides and other misc. stuff. Why aren't those pictured? Because I took pictures at 4:30 in the freakin morning because I was bored after work and that other stuff is in my bedroom where my wife is sleeping. I'm not gonna be a dick and wake her up. Maybe someday down the line I'll add them to this blog, but goddamn... This is big enough!
Hope you enjoyed what I get to enjoy EVERY SINGLE DAY OF MY LIFE!
