While we are still waiting for Yakuza 3 to hit the US and Europe next month, the lucky Japanese get to glimpse the future with a new, long-ass trailer for Yakuza 4 - which is due for release on the PS3 in Japan next month too.

Weirdly though, I swear I've seen this trailer before.  Or maybe SEGA is just making all the Yakuza trailers very similar now.  It shows plenty of action from all four main playable characters (still not sure 4 characters is a good idea.) Plus there's info all the fun side activities, like bowling, baseball, fishing and checking out the hot ladies in the clubs.

Hopefully Western PS3 owners will be happily getting their Yakuza fix when Yakuza 3 hits.  But no doubt we will have to wait another 3 years before we see Yakuza 4.  Still it's

Ok so here's SEGA's first gameplay trailer for the DS version of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and it looks good.  The voice-over, however is not.

I know the advert is going to be aimed at kids, but there is just something about the scripting on these kinds of adverts that just really winds me up - same goes for a lot of movies.  Actually puts me off wanting the game.  But I'm a big boy now - so I should remember to ignore all forms of advertising and make up my own mind when I play the final game.

Anyway in other Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing news the demo for the PS3 version of the game is now available.[nextpage]

Well it's definitely available in Europe (according to SoE), but I'm not sure about the US version - so any US guys, please give us an update

There's nothing quite like getting excited for an upcoming game than watching a badass trailer.  And thankfully SEGA has done just the job with a new Aliens vs Predator gameplay trailer, showing off the various multiplayer modes ahead of this weeks launch.

I've got nothing more to say on this matter really, other than I can't wait to get my hands on the final version and expect a full review very soon.

AvP will be hitting stores this week with a US release of February 16th and European release February 19th.

You might remember the name TJerk Otten from a couple of previous posts we've done, namely the awesome home-made Dreamcast cabinet and the weird, yet wonderful, Rez-inspired "The Core" video.

Well now our favourite (you're all our favourites really) SEGA Nerd has come up with another video devoted to a SEGA classic, Jet Set Radio.  But right now he is just teasing his project:

"As you all may know. Im a big SEGA fan. A few months ago i created a animation that was inspired by REZ from SEGA. Because of the huge succes of this project im creating a new project.

Many SEGA fans are begging for years for a new Jet Set Radio, because it was just super creative and an awsome game. I like to create animations for the fans, to keep the soul of these great franchises alive.

Cor, time flies when you aren't looking eh?  Just the other day I downloaded Monkey Ball 2 on my iPod Touch (yeah, I got one now!) and was thinking; "When is Step & Roll coming out?"  Well for US gamers the game is out now (as of yesterday), with a lovely launch trailer to watch and get you excited.

But that's not all, if you fancy partying it up with the SoA peeps, along with AiAi and Miss Chiquita (aka - two people in monkey suits) then SEGA America is holding a launch party at the Nintendo World store (in the Rockefeller Centre) in New York, this Saturday 13th, and it's an open invititation.

You'll get to play on the game, meet people dressed up like monkeys and win some prizes.  Not a bad day out then.  Just visit the SoA Facebook page for more

Yeah, you Americans and Japanese might be thinking: "Wait a minute, this game has been out for ages now."  Well for us poor people living in the PAL lands, we haven't been able to get our hands on Bleach: The 3rd Phantom yet, (well unless we bought it from the US or Japan).

But now the time is finally upon us! Come February 12th (this Friday) Bleach: The 3rd Phantom will be released, for the DS, across Europe and we can finally take on the role of our favourite Shinigami and some new additions to the franchise (not seen in the manga or cartoons) in this Strategy RPG.

But if you are from Europe and don't know much about the game, then perhaps you should take a look at our review first.  It's a bit weird that it's taken so damn long to come out over here - especially

~In case you haven't seen it; the new Marines trailer~

In case you haven't checked, the Aliens vs. Predator multiplayer demo should now be available from a download service of your choice; XBL, PSN and Steam.  The demo was (supposedly) released last Friday 5th Feb, but I didn't see it appear on my XBL service until last night, maybe I'm living in a black hole or something.

The demo allows you to play with some friends and/or play a quick match against some randoms online.  There is only one level to play, "The Refinery," but you can play as all three species; Alien, Marine or Predator.

Anyway, it seems that PC and PS3 users of the demo over the weekend were plagued with some issues, which Rebellion has now apologised for; while the Xbox 360 version was unaffected.

Yes that's right, SEGA has now confirmed that Project Needlemouse is in fact Sonic the Hedgehog 4.  This is the first title in the original "Sonic the Hedgehog" series since 1994's Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - all other additions to the Sonic franchise have taken our blue friend on different paths, trying out new things such as isometric 2D, full 3D, adding new enemies and playable characters.  Some things worked, plenty didn't.

But SEGA is looking to bring the series back to its roots, but with plush new HD visuals, keeping the same old-school gameplay, level design, baddies and of course, Robotnik.  The only difference is that this game willl be coming in a number of episodic downloads.

However, don't let that worry you, previous information leaks have led us

Have you been waiting to see just how good/ bad the Wii version of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing looks before deciding on which platform to get it on? Well SEGA has created a trailer, with a bit of a difference, to show us how it plays.

As you can see, instead of just showing off a load of gameplay from the game, they have some young, trendy Americans talking about the game as they play it; showing off the Wii Wheels (but oddly not the SEGA ones), the different characters and some of the moves.

I guess it works; it helps to show the less-informed viewers just what the game is about.  But it's incredibly cheesy and annoying.  Does anyone know if these guys are famous or something? Because it almost reminds me of Nintendo's Wii adverts in the UK, where they use the

Oh yeah, not long now before Napoleon: Total War is due out in shops, so to get all you RTS fans excited SEGA has released a new gameplay trailer, this one highlighting a couple of new multiplayer features the games has to offer.

Rather than me explain them, I'll let you watch the video for yourselves.  So instead I just wanted to comment/ highlight something that seems a little odd to me:

On SEGA's youtube page for this trailer, in the video description bit it says; "ESRB Rating T with Sexual Themes, Violence, Mild Blood, Alcohol Reference, and Language."

"Sexual Themes"?  Does this mean that one of the missions will involve Napoleon strutting around in the nip, while commanding his troops? - I'd kind of like to see that...
