Being a part of The Kartel community is definitely one of those awesome finds, because everytime you post a comment or forum thread on our site, you get the chance to earn points to exchange for free games and goodies. While at E3, Master Lee bumped into the fine folks who worked on Toy Soldiers, a sleeper hit that came out on XBLA recently.

And after hearing more about it, Master Lee begged for a copy to give away to our fans, because he loves supporting the indie scene. So that's what we got: A free copy of the game and a free T-shirt!

To enter, just leave a comment below. The comment must be some sort of battle cry, something you say as you rush headlong to war. You know, something like "Go Joe!" or "Over? Did you say over? Nothing is over till we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!"

About the game
So what makes Toy Soldiers so much fun? It somehow makes tower defense gaming cool again. And army men. I get the feeling had they called this game Army Men: Tower Defense, it probably wouldn't do as well. Anyways, the game cleverly mixes action with strategy, and it's fun playing in a larger than life setting, ie. Some kid's room. You can zoom way out to see all the action, or jump right into the thick of battle and get hands on. The game also features a 2 player vs mode, which you can play online or split screen. Definitely worth getting!

AUCTION UP AND RUNNING AGAIN!
So after month's of backend hammer clanking and duct tape, we seemed to have fixed our auction feature! Now we have 3 ways you can earn goodies with your $Karma Points.

Auction - Highest bidder wins. Don't wait til the last minute because you never quite know what time the auction will end!

Raffle - Throw in a few points for shot at winning. You can enter multiple times!

Purchase - Got no patience for waiting? Then just use your hefty collection of points and purchase the item outright!

THIS WEEK'S GOODIES
This week we are testing 2 auction items (because you know... maybe the fix still needs a bit more fixin'.) You can earn either a USB drive, or the game MadBalls for XBLA. In addition, you should know better than waiting til I announce things here regarding new stuff. Somebody has already picked up the Splinter Cell Conviction beanie, A God of War III Skin, and a Snood Skull Cap!
